PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
MHM served as the Architect of Record, along with PORT Urbanism (Design Architect), on the 370-acre Aspire Inspirational Recreation Park in Clinton, Tennessee. Aspire is the largest private park in the Southeast that is freely available to the public. In this regional destination park, visitors can enjoy the beautiful East Tennessee landscapes, including rivers, mountains, and meadows, through a variety of recreational activities, such as sightseeing, hiking, biking, and kayaking.

Located along the Clinch River, the park features a 22,000 s.f. visitors center - Onward and Upward Center, a 5,000 s.f. boat house/kayak launch - The Launch, a 200-ft long Market Exchange Pavilion - The Exchange, a 1.5-acre signature Adventure Playground; a 2-acre bike skills area - The Grit’n Bank It, an 8-acre Wildflower Meadow, nearly 2,500 newly planted trees, 18 miles of bike and hiking trails, and a canopy walk overlook structure which wraps an existing on-site water tank with spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains to the south.
